lp.GetNetworkInformation - Get Network properties

LoriotPro has extended the LUA sripting language by providing its own LUA libraries. The new functions provided are dedicated to the creation of monitoring and SNMP automation application.

Syntax

result=lp.GetNetworkInformation('net','mask','array');

Description

Give an array with the properties of a directory network object, the network number the mask, speed ...

Parameters

net - The network under its IP format
mask - The mask under its IP format
arrayname - A variable namefor an array of values.

Return Values

Result =1 or nil if an error occurs

If result =1 returns arrayname

Array variable description

array['UID'] The network object UID as a character string
array['name'] The network object name as a character string
array['x'] The X position of the object in the InterNetwork Map
array['y'] The Y position of the object in the InterNetwork Map
array['status']

The current Network status:

WARNING : To know the network status LoriotPro look a all the host status that have an IP address in this network, independantly of their position in the directory tree. The newtork status rflect the worst host status physical located in this IP network.
